Privacy — Ledger Backup Automation
Effective date: 27 October 2026.
Data and purpose
The utility uses the authorized Google account identifier to confirm the archive destination. It uses app-specific Google Drive access to upload encrypted backup archives and download those archives for recovery verification. Google receives encrypted archive bytes and operational file metadata. Recovery passwords and unencrypted financial/photo contents are not intended to be uploaded.
Local storage and credentials
The intended Windows runner stores authorization credentials in protected local storage, renews access tokens for unattended operation, and records sanitized success/failure evidence. Local export and isolated restore workspaces can contain private data and require restricted Windows access. Credential installation and unattended service acceptance remain pending.
Sharing and use
Google user data is used only to operate and verify the owner’s backups. It is not sold, used for advertising, or provided to AI models for training. Drive sharing settings are not expanded by the backup operation.
Retention and control
Existing archives are preserved; automated archive deletion is not enabled. The owner can revoke this utility’s access in Google Account third-party connections and remove archive files directly in Google Drive. Revocation stops future access but does not delete existing archives.
